Lily has fantastic very pet experienced petparents along with a new brother dog also rescued from South Carolina. Their meet and greet went well. Lily is very social, playful and loves the water. She loves other dogs and is house-broken and knows basic commands. Loves a good snuggle.
Mason aka Waffles came back to us because the first family’s family member had an allergic reaction to him. He was readopted to a wonderful family who adopted a dog from us 9 years ago. They are extremely good petparents. Their beloved died. The family was upset. After a few months, petparents decided to adopt from us again. Their little five-year-old boy really missed their dog and kept asking for another one to be part of their family. This pup loves children. So, a perfect match.
Frank is now called Goose (on the left) and was adopted from us about three years ago. The wonderful pet parents, who are both doctors, recently adopted Annie the Corgi.
Here are the two friends hanging out at home. There also is a cat as part of the family. Annie was in foster with dogs and cats and did well with both.
They had beagles before and their most recent died of old age. Petmom showed us all the pictures and told us about all the vacations and day trips they took with their beloveds. Just talking about their recent beloved was making Petmom cry. We placed a warm pink and white striped sweater with a vinyl heart on Lady VI along with a new collar getting her ready for her ride home. Perfect for Lady since she is a sweetheart. Petmom had a beagle designed blanket, a pillow and a bed ready for Lady’s ride home. Lady VI is already having lots of attention at home.
Once she settles in to her home, she will have a very active social life with an extended group of caring people being a part of her life too, including the neighbor. Petparents are also very active in several veteran’s groups. They can’t wait to bring her there. They always took their beagles there. She will also be going to training classes to the same school they took their other dog, even advanced classes as she graduates the other classes.
Today’s follow-up was very good. Petparents are getting her used to the fenced yard slowly on her leash. Lady has been eating and drinking well.
The first night having Lady VI in bed next to them was the first night Petmom had a good night’s sleep since her beloved Beagle died.
Oliver knew we were getting him ready to go home when we started putting a brand-new collar on him with a bow tie. That was for his tags.
Oliver has been living with cats as well as kids. He loves his baths and music and is used to sleeping on his bed or at the bottom of his foster’s son’s bed. He is very playful and loves playing tug with his rope and fetch with a ball or frisbee. He has been leash trained since his foster had him and knows how to sit on command. He is a tender-hearted little puppy and just wants to be loved and cared for. He also loves chew bones that help him with his teething.
Abby is a 9-week-old puppy who loves to be kissed and cuddled, but also wrestles her brothers. Tennis balls are her favorite and so is dinner time. She loves when you lay on the ground with her so she can climb all over you. She’s good with dogs, cats and loves kids. Her new family was so happy to adopt her!
Kylo was adopted by a wonderful couple a while back. KYLO has become so attached to his petparents, that he would not leave his PETDAD’s side when petdad wasn’t feeling well.
April and Ace will have 18 pet chickens and a 100 year old turtle as part of their family.
Ace is an 8-week-old puppy who loves to play tug-a-war. He is the 2nd smallest & has smaller legs then his brothers and sisters, but he doesn’t know that. He still loves to play and wrestle with them. He loves to be held like a baby and told he’s the best puppy ever. He is good with other dogs, he’s not bothered by cats, and loves kids.
April is an 8-week-old puppy who will melt your heart. She has small legs and a big heart. But don’t let her size fool you; she is the queen of all her siblings. She loves to be held and loves her food. She is the tug of war winner every time. Because of her size it takes a few minutes for her to get the courage to approach a bigger dog but once she does, she’s good to go. She’s fine with cats and adores children.
Petdad is an electrician and made a beautiful, enclosed area for the turtle with a retractable sunroof. He gives the turtle time out of the large, enclosed area to eat grass with close supervision. The chickens have a safe area also especially at night. They know to come when called with a whistle. The pups will be having an amazing time getting to know their new siblings.
