Sue’s Petmom is gentle, sweet, and caring just like Sue

Sue-dog 4-20

A few years ago, Petmom did an internship in a Mexican animal shelter for three months. It was hard; she helped many street dogs that entered the shelter in horrible shape. While there, she wanted to take a dog home that looked like Sue. However, because of red tape she was not allowed to bring her to the US. Sue is bonding well to her Petmom. Petmom texted us that she was doing well, made herself comfortable and fell asleep her first night in her new home.

Shy Teddy whose new name is Bellschnicle is all tucked in the car ready for his trip to his new home

Teddy now Bellschnicle-dog 4-20

Petparents are caring and loving. Petmom was sadly told us that her beloved 16 year old was failing fast, and she was having difficulty making the decision to bring her dear dog to the vet for euthanasia. She also said she dreaded coming home to no dog. We told her if she was to adopt before putting her dog to sleep, she should keep them separate to keep her beloved dog relaxed in her last days. They came this weekend, and did adopt Teddy, who needs the love and attention as much as this couple do to heal from their loss. They euthanized their dog a few days ago. They thanked us for understanding and helping them during such a hard time. And they are more then willing to love and cherish Teddy aka Bellschnicle who needs to build confidence and come out of his shell. They have a high fenced yard, but at the beginning I told them to walk Bellschnicle in the yard with a leash. One day Bellschnicle may be accompanying them on their yearly reenactment of the civil war with uniforms and all. Petmom looks so nice in her big straw hat.
