About Animal Sanctuary Society, Inc.

Animal Sanctuary Society, Inc. is a non-profit 501C(3) tax-exempt charitable corporation registered in the State of New Jersey. Its primary purpose is to help animals in need, guide and educate people concerning those needs.

Animal Sanctuary Society, Inc. provides the essential food and veterinarian care for animals that have no one to provide even these basic necessities of life; and provide foster homes as much as we possibly can thanks to willing friends.

The only way Animal Sanctuary Society, Inc. is able to help animals in desperate need is with the generous, tax deductible donations from caring people like yourself. We want to take this time, on behalf of the animals, to thank you very much in advance for any contributions you can send to the Animal Sanctuary Society, Inc. for this is an urgent cause; the end to their suffering, and their lives depend on it.

Our Mission is to:

  • Rescue injured and/or homeless animals
  • Provide veterinary and humane care to animals in need
  • Rehabilitate animals in need
  • Spay and neuter rescued animals
  • Place rescued animals into appropriate and loving homes

  1. I would like to know if Oliver (the yorkie) who was transported to your org on 5 October thru the Lotta Love rescue transport has found a “forever” home. I was the driver from Baltimore to Newark that day. A very dear friend of mine wanted to adopt Oliver that day. Her name is Jo Garbacik from Bel Air, MD. She called the 856 number but only got a recording. So I just wanted to know if it is possible for her to adopt Oliver if he does not already have a permanent home. Thank you so much.

  2. My mother died and her cat became orphaned. I have a rescue Sheltie, Cat, two non-rescue Yorkies, four parrots, and am raising my grandkids. Gigi (my mom’s cat) is wonderful but we have discovered that she will be in danger with the Sheltie and our other cat (who fight but not like what they both want to do to Gigi). How do I rehome her?

  3. Thank you. I am leaving a message now.
