Arlo’s new pet parents have opened their hearts and home to him

Arlo-dog 11-18

They have had 6 labs in their life time and had them all into old age.

Good morning Charlotte,

Just to give you a follow up on Arlo. He was examined by our veterinarian (Chews Landing vet Hosp) on November 30th. He was found to be in excellent health. We made a copy of the history that you provided us with, which they reviewed and filed. He is on Advantix II Flea and Tic preventive and Interceptor Plus heartworm preventative.

This dog must have been meant for us as when we arrived home we walked him up to our side door which is just behind my gate and he seemed to know where to go as he waited for me to open the door. Arlo is so sweet and loving that we have a real hard time trying to figure out why anyone would give him up. I know there are real reasons that happen in life to cause one to do so, but that would really be a heart breaker for either Susan or myself. He has just made himself at home like he has always been here. We love him so much. At first, the only thing we worried about was he didn’t bark at all. After about a week and a half he started to bark. I am sure it was him getting adjusted to the fact that this was his new home and that he really belonged here and he could finally take control.

One other thing, I immediately went on line to and followed the instructions how to transfer his microchip information into our name. It was very easy and after about three days they confirmed the transfer. This is also a small, but nice pet website.

Thank you for the experience and all that you do for our beloved animals.
